World Economic Forum on the Middle East and North Africa

The World Economic Forum on the Middle East and North Africa, the region’s foremost gathering of government, business and civil society leaders, will take place on 22-24 October 2010 in Marrakech, Morocco.
Hosted by the Government of Morocco, the meeting will provide an extraordinary opportunity to identify and leverage best-in-class North African business models and public policies at a time when the region is seeking new modalities for growth vis-à-vis an unprecedented global economic transformation.
The meeting will pay particular attention to industry innovation across sectors, including IT, travel and tourism, agriculture and financial services. It will present new perspectives and actionable recommendations on critical transnational issues affecting the region, such as energy security, migration, climate change and demographic shifts.
