InvestHedge unites Forum and Awards to create a unique investor experience in London 2-3 October 2012

The fund of hedge funds industry is changing; investors' needs are changing. Performance still counts, but as sophisticated investors seek more customised solutions they are looking to partner with their advisors.

InvestHedge continues to be the voice of the global fund of hedge funds industry, but is increasingly representing all investors in hedge funds including family offices, public and corporate pension funds and other global institutional investors.

Our world-class annual InvestHedge Forum in London addresses the needs of the industry by hosting top-level discussions that last year attracted record numbers of hedge fund investors. This year, the InvestHedge Forum, which will be themed 'The Pursuit of Performance', will be held on 2-3 October.

As always, it will feature keynotes from the hedge fund and institutional investor industries, as well as high-level discussions and debate on the salient issues of the day.

Keynote Speaker
Ash Williams, executive director and chief investment officer of the $150 billion Florida State Board of Administration, one of the US's leading public investment institutions, will keynote at the event, giving insight on the investment needs of the US public fund market.

InvestHedge Awards 2012
For 2012, we have decided to hold the InvestHedge Awards in conjunction with the InvestHedge Forum, giving InvestHedge the opportunity to create a single must-attend event for hedge funds and the investor community. The Awards will now be held in the magnificent Great Court of the British Museum in London on the evening of 3 October.

The InvestHedge Awards recognise the best risk-adjusted performance of funds of hedge funds globally at a glamorous gala dinner, historically held in New York. The Awards will continue to recognise risk-adjusted performance but, in line with the industry's development, will be redesigned to include categories for seeding, innovation, customisation, UCITS and longer-term risk-adjusted performance, as well as reward top institutional investors for their use of hedge funds.
