Prepare all customs documentation for the Customs broker and resolve possible issues with Customs. • Coordinate Customs duties and payments. • File the shipments with ISF. • Schedule and coordinate deliveries. • Maintain a good file flow system for all shipments. • Prepare monthly, weekly, and daily reports. • Place purchase orders with suppliers. Placed orders with existing foreign suppliers; opened import letters of credit, monitored US Customs tariffs and communicated with Customs brokers/freight forwarders; prepared all necessary documentation for import and duty drawback. • Kept track of all shipments and their location (in transient).
