Mr. Zaki is a proven entrepreneur with extensive Middle East experience. Working initially as a healthcare consultant through high-level project engagements with international clients, he identified tangible opportunities to improve international healthcare services and created innovative business models for telemedicine services to be delivered to the Middle East. By 2004, Omar had developed two companies that pioneered Distance Medical Education and Medical Information Exchange in the Middle East region, including Egypt, U.A.E., Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Lebanon, Jordan and Bahrain, working with multiple multi-national clients and partners.

He completed his B.A. in Biology and Minor in Business Administration from George Mason University in 2001 and in 2008 completed his MBA from Thunderbird, School of Global Management, where he focused on private equity and entrepreneurship. He is native in English, speaks Arabic fluently and basic French and Spanish and has resident status in both Egypt and the United Arab Emirates.
