Our goal at iComTrader is to offer global access to suppliers and serious traders to expand their global networks in a mercantile like forum through our human network of sales offices. It's worth noting, that I created and developed this business while on a sabatical, which I took as a result to care for my cancer stricken wife and to raise our young chidren. In this company, I negotiated over a half a billion dollar in sales for some of the top companies in the world. Sold product to more than 2 dozen countries. Products for industries included but were not limited to, chemicals, plastics, textiles, bottling, satellite systems, and consumer staples. Companies included but not limited to, Dupont, Celanese, BASF, 3M, Allied, Monsanto, Akra, Fisisa, Sk Keris, Kohap, Samsung, Samyang, Sunkyong, Shinkong, Far Eastern, Pepsi Cola, Coke Cola, Gadot Petrochemical, All arms of the PRC national corporations, and just too many more to list here! Grew this company into a well known trading business with many trade lanes. Broadened our business base and developed new businesses constantly, ultimately launching Ventex International which was a sales company and agent into mainly the NAFTA countries. Sadly I was forced to vacate my position as President & CEO to take some time off to deal with a family health issue which culminated in my being a caregiver for my wife while raising my children in her absence.

"Ventex / Vengroup was developed as the result of various joint ventures as an offshoot of Satcorp International Inc. Main focus of these partnerships were to be a domestic seller in the North American market. We imported and took position of products into inventory from abroad to ultimately sell into the USA, Mexico and Canada. Ventex also developed inter- trade within North America, and represented both Mexican as well as US suppliers on long term contracts of fibers, yarns and polymers. Ventex also represented several raw material suppliers and producers in off quality products to sell domestically and abroad. As in Satcorp, I had to terminate my daily activities in this company to take care of issues at home. "

Co - founded and developed this global trading venture with 2 other partners in 1986 at 26 years old! This was my first chance to use both my inborn natural entrepreneurial abilities and the expertise ascertained in the international trading and import/export market particularly with the People's Republic of China. We also formed Satcorp Shipping Corp, which was a freight forwarding company servicing mainly businesses of US firms exporting to the Peoples Republic of China, in which we offered many services including freight forwarding services, ship chartering, and other freight related documentary services. Sino American Trading Corp. was unique in many ways as it was the first of its kind in the early days of Sino - US trade. We successfully represented many US corporations and Government entities in the China trade market, and I personally built long standing contacts with many government and corporate officials within China. My first joint venture was in 1987 in which we put together a JV between a US Petrochemical Company and the Lanzhou Oil Refinery, which was a subsidiary with Sinopec.These were interesting years and I can honestly say that I quickly became the face of the US China market for many US corporations. I became a very good seller and negotiator in a market that was difficult for most to understand. I also was a key speaker at several trade conferances, during these years, mainly covering business in the People's Republic of China. I had an office in Hong Kong, Beijing as well as our Head Office which was in Two World Trade Center. In 1989, I became the President and expanded the base of our market after the lessons we learned during the Tianmen Square incident. After concluding a buyout of the company, I sold Satcorp Shipping Corp and began to open up offices in other countries and formed Satcorp Int'l Inc,. This was all done before my 30th birthday and I had already traveled to China more than 30 times.

Recruited from the China Ocean Shipping company to be the manager of material and logistics for this highly established importer and exporter to the Peoples Republic of China. Afetr spending just a year in this capacity, I was promoted to General Manager, moved to the executive floor and was asked to build a profit center for the company in trade and transport. Worked with the EVP and SrVP but directly for the companies president in building ne business channels and ultimately generated more than a million dollars in profits after my first year in this role. I then was asked to go to PRC, HK, Korea almost 50% of the time to assist in trading missions and manage certain aspects of our overseas offices. I then was asked to assist in the partnership between Scheuer Int'l and Allenberg Cotton, which I the managed the main details of a very lucrative but difficult trade which ultimately became the catalyst of Scheuer being bought by Allenberg Cottons owner, The Louis Dreyfus Company and became Louis dreyfus Textiles. I departed in 1987, to start my own business and the terms I left on were very good as both Louis Dreyfus and Allenberg, gave me long term contracts for my new business venture!

Started as a export traffic clerk at Norton Lilly Steamship agency while working in the summer during my college years. Ended up that Norton Lilly became partners with the China Ocean Shipping and I was offered the position of traffic and sales asst. to this start up business. I grew as fast as this company and had the good fortune to manage the Sinotrans account and quickly became as enamoured with the China trade as the China side became with me! I was young, an insomniac and personable. By 1984 I had made some very influential friends in the US China trade and beccame heavily recruited by many shippers that were just starting out to get involved with the China market.
