Currently I'm working as a credit portfolio manager with a mid-cap bank in Belgium. I'm focused on corporate credits, together with portfolio optimization through credit derivatives. I'm also involved in securitizations (mainly wrt. Basel II efficiency).
I graduated as a MSc in elektromechanical engineering and I have been working in an industrial environment during the first four years of my career. It offered me the opportunity of gathering in-depth knowledge of different aspects of manufacturing companies, such as purchasing, engineering, production and marketing.
Currently I'm enroled in the CFA program, and already obtained an academic degree in economics.
In the long run, I want to create added value through the combination of my technical background and my economic knowledge and banking experience, such as in private equity or venture capital.
