I set up risk management function for the combined entity on merger of IDBI Bank with IDBI Ltd.

I was responsible for formulation and periodical review of risk policies and limits in all business areas, implementation of Basle II recommendations, compliance with regulatory requirements and liaison with Reserve Bank on Risk related matters. Our risk management practices (in idbi bank ltd.) were already largely Basle II compliant and our work in this regard was recognized by Reserve Bank. I was active on many committees formed by RBI for Basle II implementation.

Managed corporate region consisting of 12 branches in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. Business totaling over INR 10 billion.
