Managing the MIS for management use and overseeing all post sanction activities including monitoring of the collection activity for minimizing overdues and for audit purposes
Monitoring the hardware/software systems and processes to efficiently run the business and interacting with vendors/service providers for sourcing viable and cost effective solutions
Ensuring smooth client service and relationship by monitoring the Clients’ accounts, including Client interaction for resolving credit issues and developing customer relationships
Developing relationships with the Credit Insurers and assessing requirements for providing and ensuring quality Non Recourse (credit protected) business, including limit management
Developing the Factoring portfolio to levels of about AED 200 mio (USD 55 mio) in Assets, AED 100 mio (USD 30 mio) in Funding and AED 300 mio (USD 85 mio) in Turnover within a year
Initiated process for setting up Factoring operations at overseas locations of the Bank (Qatar/Bahrain) and for introducing the concept of Islamic Factoring – a world first
Assisting the Head (Trade Operations) in identifying/rectifying process gaps in certain Trade Finance areas such as Guarantees, Letters of Credit, Approval processes, etc.
