Summary
Business moves in cycles, and after the last 15 years in my most recent incarnation I decided it was time to move onto a long held ambition of mine, to extend my skills, knowledge and expertise in the overseas corporate sector.
My most recent venture as a supplier of systems and Consulting services to Media & Technology companies, evolved into providing Business, Management and Technology consulting services to a range of industries, including Broadcasting, Internet, New Media & Technology sectors.
Very few companies are building new Strategic business models most are not. Some are throwing money at acquisitions thinking that this will plug the holes in their future Income profile, whilst together with their business plan what is needed is to build communities, primarily inside an organisation but outside as well, with their suppliers, their customers and the general Public – to enhance their branding. It is a function of a consultant to solve existing or perceived future problems, then to promote these solutions by changes to the business plan within the company.
I am positive that enterprises can both survive and grow their income streams for the future - but they will need to do so by following a different business model to that of the past, new strategies are necessary - I want to contribute to, and to help guide that process.
I have been head hunted for senior positions in the past, I have negotiated large contracts in Australia and overseas, such as in excess of USD$80 million (net income) in today’s dollar terms in the Middle East.
Effective leadership capital (succession planning, Board effectiveness, accountability, etc) - Talent Management Strategies – Pre-Merger Strategies such as Staff-Mapping to Post-merger integrations – to activate the savings brought about by the anticipated synergies leading to the savings within the new merged organisation.
