The portfolio trading desk incorporates both portfolio trading and electronic trading. Responsible for executing portfolio’s into the Australian market using both the traders and algorithmic tools available. Benchmarks would be set by the client and monitored through our in house analytical tools. •Execute portfolios on an agency basis, using both our in house algos and traders. •Liasing with the risk desks both for portfolio pricing and single stock pricing. •Working closely with the Electronic trading desks to enhance current algos as well as create new specifications for various different client needs. •Client reporting at end of day and on a regular basis to measure performance. •Familiar with various benchmarks, ie VWAP, Implementation shortfall. Performance measurements include miss from benchmark, impact costs, opportunity costs, trend costs. •Setting up and educating clients on all aspects of electronic trading in using algos and DMA.

Working in the Equities Department of Lehmans, executing orders on market either through ITS or our in house algorithms. • Executing Agency orders through Click ITS. • Liasing with Sales traders and offshore portfolio trading teams for crossing opportunities. • Working with the algorithmic/electronic trading teams for better electronic execution. • Day to Day monitoring of Algo flow to support the trading desk. • Close liaison with the Quant Prime Broking team with their expansion of high frequency DMA trading into Australia. • Work closely with the facilitation trader on firm facilitation trades and potential risk. • Working with IT to develop and push out Lehman Brothers Execution Platforms locally.
