HSS – Global Accounting Product group [HBAP, HBUS, HBAU, HBEU] [AFS Business Clients] ● Assisting, coordinating in implementing new functionalities & workflows; participating in regression testing of database and existing functionality for new releases. ● Investigating issues/differences identified during regression to an agreed standard before providing it to the location or Product team for review. ● Gathering reports, documenting the fund administration team’s operational issues and day-to-day operations: coordinate on feedback with fund administration teams through regular meetings. ● Providing coordination within individual fund administration teams and assists with new functionalities utilized by global procedures. Supporting Global Users’ group by monitoring support mailbox and tracking issues, ● Coordinating and chairing meetings, arranging Web based sessions for the BT teams at different locations, participate in Global Users’ meetings for regular operational works and tasks, attend regular product calls for prioritisation of new development /enhancement related activities. ● Providing sign off for new Workflow for their location with the Senior Fund Administration Manager, prepare BRD document and various Global Operating models and procedures. ● Reviewing various test scripts for users to perform and run using the different Business scenarios. ● Developing expertise in Interest Rate Swaps, Credit Default swaps, Equity Swaps.

HSS - Accounting & Valuation [HBEU] [AFS Business Clients] ● Preparing portfolio valuations, maintaining underlying accounting records for assigned Hedge funds; reviewing reconciliation of brokerage and custodian accounts to underlying records. ● Liasing with applicable Fund Administration contact to communicate information; resolving issues, adhering to standard operating procedures and maintain the Operating Model. ● Carrying out any additional responsibilities required by the Supervisor in supporting the on going management and development of the division. ● Maintaining HSBC internal control standards; developing awareness of the Operational Risk scenario associated with this role.

HSS – New Business Implementation (Accounting & Valuation) [HBUS, HBEU] ● Operating as Gatekeeper for transition of New Business activities in CoE; coordinating Global Launch schedules, plan and advice on staff requirements for new business with COE management. ● Monitoring flow of new business conversions and notifying Jurisdictions proactively for contingency cases like sudden spurt of conversion in particular period. ● Acting as coordinator on behalf of Trade Capture and PAU (Accounting & Valuation team) between COE, A&V and business implementation teams until the Post Implementation signoff. Acting as facilitator to enable proper documentation of New Business conversions by keeping updated Run Books, Migration Surveys and Broker Access details. ● Facilitating periodic calls between A&V and COE, for seamless communication / transition of the New Business activities. Enabling proper broker access before pre-live and transition to the PAU teams, keeping track of open items on new business launch and gradually closing them. ● The Key activities signed off from New Business Conversion team are: Tax-lots upload, Historical Trades uploads, Replication of Net Asset Value, Balance Sheet, Reconciliation of Historical Cash / Positions to Client / Broker, Tax-Lots reconciliation as of conversion date by Qty and Cost to Client / Broker, Cash reconciliation as of Conversion date to client and broker, Position reconciliation by Cost, Quantity and Market Value to client / broker, FX Forward reconciliation to client / broker as of conversion date, Interest reconciliation as of conversion date to client / broker , Dividend reconciliation as of conversion date to client or broker.
