International Business Planning and Strategy Global Micro-banking Consulting At FINO I were part of the Corporate Strategy team at Financial Information Network and Operations Ltd,Mumbai and work closely with the top management on areas like direction setting and devising innovative business strategies for realising FINO's Mission, Vision and Objectives .My role play at FINO includes offering consulting to international clients, Policy watch & generating business intelligence,Design,development and costing of new products and services, Working on Financial inclusion research projects,case studies and related literature with policy research organisations and academicians globally. My previous stint was with the State Bank of India and the HDFC Bank Ltd .In both the organisations I was the part of agribusiness finance teams and actively involved in financing complete agri value chain right from landless leasse farmers to high value agro processing units and emerging corporates. My Professional goal is to learn and grow through institutions and hone up my business acumen, entrepreneurial skills and to learn intricacies of business diplomacy, planning and strategy development and thus keep myself abreast with and contribute to latest development in emerging markets and BoP in particular . Personal Goal is to reduce economic inequalities & poverty reduction through market led solutions.

My work at CRISP,Hyderabad-India involved a rigorous field study focusing on the agriculture policy dimension on allowing FDI in agri retailing . The study was jointly conduced along with Dr. Rasheed.V.Sulaiman- Director @ CRISP and Ms. N.J.Kalaivani, Fellow @ CRISP covering the topic of emergence of value chains in fresh fruits and vegetables around rural areas of Hyderabad and their impact on farmers in the region. At Oikocredit,India(Hyderabad) , I was entrusted with the responsibility of preparing a business plan for funding for a partner MFI of OikoCredit India.

My work @ APMAS involved doing a rigorous field research with an objective to address below mentioned Policy question : Research Question: Has National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme(NREGS) resulted into scarcity of farm labourers in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh and led to the ripple effects like food inflation? The work was later on used by APMAS as a research input.

As a research intern I worked along with Dr.Rajeswari Raina - Senior Fellow @ CPR on a research study focusing livelihoods of small and marginal dairy farmers in the hills of Jammu and Kashmir state.

At HDFC Bank, I were part of Agri-commodities Business Group. Responsibilities included Hi-value agri-venture financing in the Indian state of Punjab.

As a part of Agri Business group at State Bank of India, I served in the southern and Northern states - AndhraPradesh, Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir. Main responsibilities included : - Business Planning ,Marketing and Operations at branch-cluster level, - Working out techno-economic analysis of agriculture projects - Promotion of women Self Help Group linkage and relationship management with multistakeholders like farmers,agribusiness companies and SBI branches( cluster of 8-10 branches). I were also involved in financing emerging agri corporates(SME) and small and marginal farmers along with youth clubs and Self Help Groups. Role play involved working out techno economical feasibility of high value agricultural projects like rice Mills, Solvex units, flour mills, high value commercial poultry units, hatcheries, horticultural units and small agri finance like Kisan Credit Card(KCC) , Kisan Gold Card, Self Help Groups formation and financing. Conduction of Gram Sabhas in Villages along with various other stake holders like Block Dev Officer, Tehsildar, Contract Farming Companies, NGOs etc.
