Alternative Investing Forum Spring 2010
The second annual Alternative Investing Forum 2010 will gather key industry leaders from the alternative investment community in an asset allocation, investment management and current sector opportunity event.
The purpose will be to explore, discuss and investigate the most pressing critical investment issues for alternative asset managers and their investors. Topics will include the role of the government in alternative investing with the pending deactivation of fiscal measures, inflation, gold and currency issues in asset allocation, single vs. multi-strategy funds, and the state of the US and the world economy with the resulting impact on alternative investing.
The forum will showcase current sector opportunities, including, Emerging Markets, Energy/Commodities, Credit/Distressed Debt, Value/Equity strategies, Infrastructure investing and Macro/Event driven strategies, as well as Private Equity.
The forum is especially centered on growing and mid-sized managers and provides an excellent platform to gain direct exposure to a wide plethora of investors and to network with industry participants.
As our previous investor forums, this one-day event is mid-sized, fast-paced and held at the Harvard Club in New York to promote an intimate, easy-to-network environment while keeping prices to attend attractive. Over 130 participants with 40 investors and 70 managers are expected.
