As The Senior Loan Officer I was responsible for soliciting, negotiating, underwriting and coordinating the closing of major and complex consumer, residential, equipment, SBA, commercial building and business loans in compliance with the lending policies of a correspondent lender and procedures; develops relationships with customers; and promotes business for our firm by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new services. The position of Senior Loan Officer is responsible for local and regional goals through active participation in sales management and officer call programs, and provides leadership, training and support to less experienced loan officers and supervising operations staff
