Head of a specialized team consisting of Client Advisors, Financial Advisors and Wealth Management Planners marketing and providing an ongoing customized private banking service to Ultra High Net Worth clients (>USD 30 million liquid wealth) in Europe onshore and offshore, MENA, Latin America and Asia. This service also required close corporation with DB's Corporate Investment Bank. Increased Assets Under Management with CHF 1.2 billion in 2001. DB, however, decided in 2002 to abrogate this infrastructure in Geneva.

Head of the UHNW private clients in Latin America. From 1994 to 1999 Assets Under Management doubled and Income grew from USD 5 million to USD 20 million. Business development of UHNW clients particularly in Argentina, Chile, Brazil and Venezuela. Client management involved asset allocation between traditional and non-traditional investments, credit structuring, estate and financial planning for wealth planning and tax purposes. Formed a strategic part in the development of the Geneva Advisory Team offering tailor made products, private equity, hedge funds, structured products, derivatives and Emerging Market securities, income from which represented 50% of the Latin America income. Responsible for a team consisting of nine team members focussing on client marketing and servicing as well as closely liaising with the in-country prospectors throughout Latin America.

Formed part of the management of this corporate finance advisory firm which provided a broad range of financial services. Clients were mainly from the Nordic countries and the Far East and ranged from small start-up companies to major international corporations and institutions. Transactions undertaken included project finance, credit enhancement, private placements, merger and acquisitions, currency and interest rate swaps and sale/lease-back transactions, typically for shipping companies.

Directed the International marketing and sales of Spanish equities and fixed income securities to North American Institutions . Headed the associated New York stock broking company’s (Interfinance Capital Markets, Inc.) sales of the above products as well as presentations of the Spanish market and companies to North American institutions and corporations.

Set up this Spanish broker company's international department concentrating on Spanish equity sale to international investors in Europe and North America. Designed the company's Spanish equity research in English and trained staff for the research and the sales desks. Prepared the company's international publicity. Identification, research and presentation of merger and acquisition transactions between international and Spanish companies. The company was later sold to Banesto.

Origination and management of Corporate, Institutional and Sovereign relationships in Sweden, Spain and France, culminating in successfully completed transactions such as public and private loan syndications, Euro commercial Paper and Medium Term Note programmes, interest rate and currency swaps, international equity placements and Stock Exchange listings, and management and underwriting of Eurobond issues. In addition, developed new product concepts and identified merger and acquisition possibilities for corporate clients.

Marketed Sovereigns, Financial Institutions and Corporates in Sweden, Finland, Austria and Spain and originated Eurobond issues, private placements, Stock Exchange listings, equity placements, IPOs and interest rate and currency swaps. Made the first USD interest rate swap which was between Kingdom of Sweden and the World Bank. Initiated S.G.Warburg's involvement in Spain through the first Eurobond issue for Kingdom of Spain and the listing of Banco Santander on the London Stock Exchange followed by an international share placement.

Eight months’ training in management and administration at the head office of this office supplies manufacturer, where coordination of purchasing (mainly from the Far East), market research and import/export services were handled for the entire European group.
