For the last seventeen years, my attention has been focused on the seafood industry, specifically the aquaculture industry.

I have concentrated on the food safety aspect for the last several years and have joined a team of food safety experts that developed new technologies to ensure safer seafood.

I have conducted business internationally for over 35 years, building strong business relationships and alliances worldwide.

I conduct myself in a professional manner; focusing on start-up operations, strategic planning, advertising, marketing, channel development, sales, import/export logistics, and business development.

I successfully negotiated contracts with government officials/agencies, health authorities/departments, commercial fisherman, fish hatcheries, aquaculture farmers, seafood processors, domestic and international importer/distributors, brokers, and retailers globally for the last seventeen years.

For several months in 2007/2008, I concentrated on field-testing our organic antimicrobials’ on Mexico’s seafood, pork, poultry, beef, vegetable, fruit, dairy, and HRI industries to evaluate and seek a way to control pathogen outbreaks. I worked beside top bio-chemical food engineers during the field tests, which provided me the necessary tools and experience to continue my goals towards keeping food safe.

I demonstrated excellent on-site results and accumulated valuable data for our company. Initial field tests were run at fish hatcheries for both tilapia and shrimp; tests were also implemented at grow-out ponds for tilapia and shrimp. In addition, we ran tests at some of Mexico's largest tuna processing plants and discovered how significant our anti-microbial helped improve their operations and food safety programs.

In 1993, I launched a Mexican Seafood Corp after working in the field for 2 years. Owning my own company helped me acquire the necessary skills needed to achieve the goals I set out to learn about the seafood industry.
