Summary

I am an IT professional with multi-industry experience that include mobile telecommunications, merchant banking and IT services provision/delivery and financial/capital markets. I am currently responsible for the strategic development of the Botswana Stock Exchange (BSE) technology infrastructure that will lead to full automation of back-office and trading functions to harness market, products and services strategic efforts.

Prior to joining the BSE, I worked for multinationals like Orange and IBM as well as regional Organisations - African Banking Corporation and SADC Secretariat mostly in managerial/ team leadership roles.

I am currently a member of the Technical Committee of the Committee of SADC Stock Exchanges (CoSSE), which is mandated to determine the technical requirements for the integration of SADC stock exchanges which would facilitate real-time trading and settlement of securities in the member markets (cross border markets).

I hold an MSc Strategic Management from University of Derby (UK) and a BSc Computer Science from University of Botswana.
