More than thirty seven years ofmanagement experience of Financial Institutions (FIs), ranging from Regional Savings Banks in Spain, to National and International Banks and Multilateral Development Institutions. Actual, real and hands-on experience on how setting up new banks in domestic markets in different continents and with a cross-cultural approach. Additionally, my experience also covers the creation of Banking JVs with foreign partners, privatization advise, restructuring FIs for that purpose, M&A, Technical Assistance (TA) to upgrade their management, procedures (lending, ALCO, etc.), short and long term strategy, corporate governance and Institution building in general, etc. Special mention should be done to my long experience of promoting SMEs in different countries through Lines of Credit to FIs, to be on lent to the SME sector
