A decades long interest in the film industry was rekindled when a meeting with an historical Canadian figure prompted the purchase of this individual’s life story rights to the end of producing a movie. During the development of the property Ms. Aasand continued to be actively involved in her then main focus, church work and prayer practice. Ms. Aasand is now President of her own film company and is actively involved in the acquisition, development, funding, producing and distribution of films that communicate the power of a Divine Presence and the unity and brotherhood of all mankind in a wholesome salutary way.

Before this period in Ms. Aasand’s career as a financial consultant she advised international clientele out of her office in Northern California. Her practice served business owners and start-up ventures that required assistance in the development of their business, in business plan writing, and in capital raising. Her experience working for and with entrepreneurs as well as being President and CEO of a start-up company gave her valuable skills for her consulting practice.

Ms. Aasand spent seven years as a financial planner for individuals evaluating all aspects of their financial situation, solving problems, and developing plans for their continued financial well being. This incorporated the use of investment vehicles, insurance strategies, estate planning, budget analyses, etc. and perception of the client’s sensibilities to develop a comprehensive plan to achieve their financial goals. Ms. Aasand had a special interest in and therefore actively participated in the due diligence of business and investment opportunities. This process provided invaluable lessons in the problems and pitfalls of start-up ventures.
